I brewed the carmel amber ale recipe last sunday. I opened my bucket today to get a gravity reading, as it stopped bubbling two days ago. All I see is a foamy substance on top, that also is in my blow off tube. I would have expected the krausen to have fallen by now. Am I infected? It smells good when i open the lid as well. If I was infected, I would think that it would not still smell pleasent.
