I'm looking at buying a stock pot to use for brewing. Is there any reason to go with stainless steel over aluminum? I know that aluminum is much less expensive, however, I'm a little concerned that if the wort is acidic, it might leach from the aluminum pot and the beer would be aluminum flavored or worse flat out ruined.

If there's no reason one *has* to go stainless steel, I may order a large aluminum stock pot and go that route as it would be a significant cost savings.
