Last night i made an IPA and got 70% effiency.9 Lbs of grain,2 1/2 lbs of extract, and some rice hulls.Next time im gonna go all grain.

I just did my first AG today :ban: It wasn't that difficult at all. How are you doing your partials now? If your mashing in a little cooler you're practially there. Make the leap.

In the pot.Im using a 12 inch splatter screen over the pot, spreading the grains around .Waiting for it to drip dry,and sparge.

Congrats. I did "almost-allgrain" for a while too and was surprised that I didn't see more folks claiming to be doing it. You can do a lot if the flexibility of 6-7 lbs grain + 1-4 lbs extract/sugar. I mash in a 5 gal cooler and 10-11 lbs of grain is about the most I can squeeze in there.
