hey, im jim.
im currently living in palm beach gardens FL (three quarters of the way down on the east coast)
i love hoppy ass IPA's and complex ass porters.
stouts usually come a bit sour to me so im not a huge fan of some of them. wiessens are ok but a bit bland, however wiessens and witbeers are perfect in my opinion for fruit brewing.
ooh, and Belgian strongs. they rock out hardcore too.
i have a (mostly)wonderful partner who brews with me but she prefers browns, and ales.
south florida spends so much time catering to the cultures of tourists it barely has a culture of its own, so if you want good beer, you basically make it yourself.
this is why im here. i got a few batches under my belt, but im trying to get more brew theory so i can wing my own recipes.
