Was about to say this might be the least interested I've been in an Allagash release in quite some time.... then I saw their P.S.

I am actually much more interested in Invisible Orange than Sal. I drank two bottles of b1 Little Sal and it's definitely my least favorite fruited Allagash beer ever, and IMO one of the crappiest sours they've ever put out. Still a solid beer, but the hype is sooooooooo overwarranted (and remember I am a massive Allagash homer :p )

That being said, I'm kinda glad they're doing it like that, because maybe I can get some Invisible Orange off people who are going up for Sal... I think that beer is gonna be really good.

2 barrels of each. Yikes.

That's around the ballpark of 600 375's, if they release it all. Limit 1 on the Sal, might survive a big line. Weird they're doing 2 bottle limit on the Invisible Orange, if it's the same amount made.

Questioning whether or not it's worth going up considering how early the lines will likely form. The last little Sal release was crazy busy and that happened at 12:00 on a weekday.

I'm a bit of a broken record, but I don't get why they announce these things in advance. They sold out in several days to a week when they did day-of announces, and that was before beer got really popular. Maybe they're jealous of MBC

The release was much more low key than I thought it might be. They didn't end up selling out of either little Sal or invisible orange and had a nice little surprise sale of some resurgam at the opening.

Glad people don't flock to allagash like they do MBC.

Going to be up there Thursday night for the weekend, what was bottle format and any idea how much might be left given bottle counts?

375s, small bottle counts (like ~600-800 each if the "two barrels" thing that Allagash said is true), I would guess there is zero chance any remain by Thursday, but it's nearly impossible to predict what's going to happen with Allagash bottles.

QFT. One barrel sells out in a couple of hours on a weekday, two barrels doesn't sell out on a Saturday o_O

Yeah the people trying to trade Sal 1:1 for Flora Cherry are going to be a little disappointed this time, methinks... I heard anecdotally that this batch of Sal is MUCH better than b1, any of y'all open one yet?

If anyone can gopickitupformebro I'll be in from Chicago thur-sun and can trade or provide cash and thank you beers. Three floyds, bcs, kbs, bbpt5 plus lots more

Just called. Little Sal sold out this morning.
