There are a total of 10 pours? Can you double up on some selections and ignore things like pils?

This was from the original release:

"Attendees will receive 4 ounces of each of the 10 beers being poured at the event"

I'd imagine now 13 beers, 13 pours. I'd also think you get one pour of every beer. No choices. How many people in atendance are going to pick the Pils over anything else there? Probably a number trending towards zero. That would just create supply issues.

Here's the email Allagash just sent out
We’re getting excited for the the Wild Friendship Celebration this Saturday, May 9 and are glad you’re going to be joining us.

In advance of the big day, here are a few topics you’ll want to keep in mind:

Transportation Details:

  • The Shuttle will depart from the Portland Harbor Hotel (468 Fore Street, Portland, ME) at 4:30pm for the 5pm session. The shuttle will leave at 8pm from Allagash to return to downtown Portland.

  • Please present your ticket (paper or phone) to the Allagash staff member on the bus showing that you have paid for the shuttle. Seating on the bus is limited and has been fully reserved.
Check in:

  • In order to make this process run as efficient as possible we will have staff checking ID's and tickets while guests are in line prior to the start time of your session.

  • Please have your Eventbrite ticket ready upon arrival -- either on paper or on your phone -- and please present a valid & current state ID or Passport. (Unfortunately Military ID or other forms of ID cannot be accepted.) This will be used only to confirm that attendees are 21 years and older.

  • Soon after the doors open for your session, you should be ready to enjoy the day - with your wristband (proof of entry & age), booklet map of the event (showing where the beers are being poured and food is served), and your souvenir chalice for the beer. The booklet will also be where you will receive stamps for each beer you've tried.
Event - Logistics:

  • Most important: we have planned for all of the attendees (across both sessions) and are ensuring that none of the breweries will run out of the beers they are pouring. Everyone will receive a 4 oz sample of each beer.

  • Beers (and food) will be located in different stations throughout the brewery as well as across the street in a tented location.

  • Here are the names of the beers you can expect to have at the event (souvenir tasting notes will be included on the booklet map):
    • Wild Friendship Blend

    • Allagash: Resurgam, Mattina Rossa, Session Brett

    • Russian River: STS Pils, Pliny the Elder, Supplication, Beatification

    • Cantillon: Lou Pepe Kriek, 4 Year Old Lambic, Fou’ Foune, Cuvee St-Gilloise
  • Here are the restaurants and caterers that are providing food for your session:
    • Outliers Eatery, Aurora Provisions, Bao Bao Dumpling House, Bread & Butter Catering
  • This is a rain or shine event, and requires attendees to move outdoors to access some of the pouring stations.

  • Reminder: the Friendship Blend is not for sale, only to sample.

  • In fact, we cannot sell any bottled beer on Saturday, May 9, due to arrangements with liquor control.

  • However, the Allagash store will be open on Saturday for ticketed guests of Wild Friendship Celebration to purchase merchandise (including a special Wild Friendship Celebration t-shirt)

  • Restrooms will be located throughout the event - inside the brewery as well as outdoor restrooms located near a tent across the street

  • If you are hoping to purchase Allagash beer, please plan on visiting us on Friday, May 8 or Monday, May 11. If you wish to schedule a tour on those days, please call 207.878.5385 to make a reservation - and be aware, space is limited and booking fast.
Again, we’re excited you’re coming - and if you have a question we haven’t addressed here, please email [email protected].

See you Saturday!

If you look closely at the picture that was tweeted out, there is another beer "Assemblage de l'Amitie" (#9 on the map), which is apprently the one blended at Cantillon.

I have a weird urge to blend the two together. Blends inside blends like I'm Leonardo Dicaprio and the beers are my dreams.

which twitter account, I didn't see it on allagash twitter unless it was a while back

you have to look at replies not just tweets.... the pic that was also posted in here today came from there

Just got a glimpse of the Allagash glass at the brewery. Tulip style, similar to those 12oz short tulips every brewery uses but about 25% smaller. Maybe 6-8oz total? Doesn't have circle logo but rather the brewery names wrapping around the glass in a continuous loop (fill line?) with the event name and date above on one side. Sturdy glass. Pretty cool.

Pretty snazzy new Oxbow webpage, I must have missed that.. but apparently they are *renting out* the farmhouse now?!? Week minimum right now... If they ever drop that I'm absolutely staying there for a couple of nights and just getting absolutely shithoused off fresh Grizacca/FPA. God Damn.
