I saw the same thing on Monday and picked up a tub as I was fresh out. I'll report back once I use it.

I'm trying this tonight on a new (to me) keg. It had root beer and some kind of gummy deposit in it. I put in about a full scoop and filled it to the brim with hot tap water.

It didn't foam like oxy so I could fill up the keg all the way in one shot without a bunch of foam going all over. After it filled, it did bubble and foam a little.

I'll give it the old 24 hour soak and see what comes of it.

It looks good where it says " 100% free of dyes, perfumes and chlorine". I recently bought some dollar store brand and it did not foam. I could see bubbles rising off the crud in the fermenter. It cleaned the same as the brand name stuff.

So far I'm not impressed. It has loosened some of the crud on the inside of the keg, but it's still there. We'll see tonight but I'm not terribly optimistic.

The small amount that ran down the side of the keg did do a solid job of removing some leftover label adhesive. So I'll probably still keep it on hand for any de-labeling, at least.

In fairness, this is my first used keg I've had to clean, so I've never used oxy in this sort of application in the past. But Oxy has never let me down before.

We'll see how it looks tonight.

The Tide stuff has detergent in it. Tough to rinse. I have not seen plain oxy clean anywhere for a long time they seem to all be laundry detergent with a bit of perchlorate added.

Same active ingredients as Oxiclean - but without percentages, it's not all that helpful.

In a pinch, just add equal volumes of Soda Wash and Hydrogen Peroxide - then you have pure sodium percarbonate. Works great! (but I, too, prefer the convenience of the oxiclean free)

It eventually took a third mixture of oxy and TSP90 to get off 95% of the "stuff". The other 5% came off with some light scrubbing.

I'm going to stick with the Oxyclean free until someone can show me that the All is the same thing or works as well.

I tried it yesterday, soaking bottles to remove labels. 1 TSP per gallon. I can say this stuff is no where as good as the Oxy brand. After soaking for 24 hrs it was difficult to get the labels to peel off in one piece and difficult to remove the glue. Using Oxy the labels all come off clean and much easier to remove the glue.
I'll keep it as a backup and maybe increase the amount used to see if that helps.

I ran the All through my normal "Primary fermentor CIP" routine (yeah, I still secondary, wanna fight about it?) and I'd say it did about 85% as well as Oxy. A little more agitation and it was all clean. Not too bad. For slightly more product and less cost, it could be a good alternative for light to moderate cleaning jobs.
