Hi guys
I recently got my hands on a awful lot of Nugget hops (way more than I could use if I was to only use them for bittering). So I thought I'd try this whole hop bursting idea and try to make up my 40 something IBU's for an American IPA more or less solely by late hop additions. How does a partial mash recipe like this look to you, and anybody with experience on this kind of recipe?

Batch size: 20.0 liters

50% 2.500 kg Light/Pale Malt Extract Syrup
15% 0.750 kg American Two-row Pale
10% 0.500 kg Munich Malt
10% 0.500 kg Crystal 15L
10% 0.500 kg Corn Sugar (Dextrose)
5% 0.250 kg Wheat Malt info

Nugget hops

boil 60 mins 10 g
boil 10 mins 50 g
boil 5 mins 50 g
boil 0 min 50 g
dry 50 g

I'm all for trying new things, but I recently made a pretty simple IPA with all nugget hops, and it wasn't very good. It doesn't mean yours won't be! Just wanted to share my experience.
