I've got The Thirsty Traveler set to record on my Tivo. I ran across it one night flipping channels and got the general idea of the show and figured they would have to cover beers in a few episodes, so I set it to record all showings.
I saw that I had Alaskan Beers recorded last night, but I was too busy bottling my IPA to sit down and watch it.
I watched the episode about Pislner Urquell a week or two ago. Thew show is decent enough, but the problem (at least with the 3 episodes that I have watched) is that they only talk about the featured beverage for the first 15 minutes of the show, and the second 15 minutes is devoted to food found local to the place where the drink is from.
