How sanitary is the air chamber that the compressor is blowing from? Is there an airstone/diiffusion stone at the end of the hose to disperse the air? Traditionally we use either welders oxygen or some folks use an aquarium pump.

Oil-less compressor with a filter might be ok, otherwise you risk getting oil, rust, etc. into your wort. However shaking or stirring is probably as effective with more work but less chance of disaster.

You don't want to see what is inside of a typical air compressor... trust me on that one.

I stick with disposable oxygen tanks. Ease of use is just off the charts.

yeah i wouldnt use my shop air compressor. No way. even with an oil remover and a water remover installed on the air line. I'll just keep to using that for my air tools
