Go to recipes forum and find the New thread post link/button. Its on the top left of the style of beer page you are in. It better be a good recipe. Well it should at least be a tried and true recipe. Its not just on your account though it will be in the recipe database with all of the other ones.
There are many homebrew recipe database websites (TastyBrew, BeerSmith Cloud, BeerTools, Beer Recipator, Brewer's Friend, etc). At least a few of those sites are free. You could also use a cloud service to store BeerXML or similar files.
The Recipes/Ingredients subforum is for threads about recipe creation/tweaking, as well as threads about ingredient based topics. Threads there will not show up under the "Recipes" dropdown list under your username in each post.
The Recipe Database subforums are for tried and true recipes that you want to share with the community. They do show up under your "Recipes" dropdown list. They do not autopopulate any other subforum.
