I am thinking of making a raz wheat beer with these ingredients for my girlfriend. If I added 1 Pound of Pilsen DME would it change the flavor much besides lowering the IBU? I just want it to be a fruit beer yet still have a nice punch. Or am I way off target?

Briess Bavarian Wheat Liquid Extract 6 lbs, 0 oz
Briess Pilsen (Extra) Light Dry Extract 1 lbs, 0 oz ?
Briess 2 Row Carapils 0 lbs, 8 oz
Tettnang, German Pellets 1 oz @ 60 mins
Hersbrucker, German Pellets 1 oz @ 2 mins
Wyeast Labs Weihenstephan Weizen 1 ea

Then fresh extracted Raspberry juice to secondary.
W/O raspberry IBU is 16.5 according to brew builder. With DME

Looks tasty to me. The Pilsen will bump up your OG as well.

adding the 1lb of pils extract will be fine and do exactly what you want. i'd ditch the carapils tho since its already in the extract and kinda useless in a wheat beer. caravienne or honey malt would work well in place of it if you want to steep something.
