Hey guys. I'm a newbie here I'm working on my third batch. And it's a chocolate toffee strong ale. And I was wondering if it safe or possible to smash up a toffee bar and throw it in the secondary or should I just go with like a powered chocolate.
I would put in just prior to bottling or kegging, but do it to taste. Thta stuff can be overwhelming. Add a little at a time until you reach your desired taste.
