I am currently brewing my first cyser. 2 gallon fermenter. I used 10 apple cored and juiced , 6 lbs of wildflower honey . Lalvin D47 yeast along with yeast booster and nutrient . I was going to transfer to the secondary with cinnamon sticks and went to the Orchard today and thought I should get some cider ! Can I let the mead sit in the secondary with cider ?

Yes you can. It may restart fermenation or might not. Just depends on the current ABV and the yeast's alcohol tolerance.

You're sitting at about 14% ABV which is the stated limit of that yeast. Adding some juice will dilute that, so it might restart and ferment some of the apple's sugar.

I just transferred it into two carboy jugs and letting them sit with cinnamon sticks , now I also noticed it had a strong alcohol taste. I wanted to add cider to make it sweeter , but the jugs I used are glass. Should I worry about restarting fermentation and risk the influx of pressure?
