Hello 3rd batch I have ever brewed and I was wondering when I should add bourbon barrel chunks to my Russian Imperial stout? I have had the chunks soaking in Knob Creek for 2 weeks now and the stout is going to be in my primary fermenter for about 4 weeks or more. Really depends on how the yeast and the wort get along. Not sure if I should add the chunks to the primary fermenter or secondary fermenter.

I have 2 ounces of bourbon barrel chunks that I added in bourbon for 2 weeks so by now after I broke them up a bit more they weigh close to 3 ounces.
