I brewed 5gal of Heffeweizen yesterday.
Yeast is just now starting to take off, tommorow it should be going good.
Any downside in brewing 10gal of Heffeweizen tommorow and dumping it in with the 5gal active?

Bad Idea? Oxidation? Or who does crazy stuff like that...

It sounds like you're essentially doing the same as a 5 gallon full-strength starter for a 10 gallon batch. Shouldn't be a problem. Make sure you use a blowoff tube, though. Might get pretty active real quick. Another option is to top-crop yeast from the 5 gallon and use it for the 10 gallon.
