Did I ruin my beer by adding yeast nutrient when racking it to the secondary? i thought it would help but...its not looking that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it's probably not ruined. once the beer is fermented it no longer needs help, some wackos may even argue you don't need a "secondary" ;)

A) What is the problem you meant to fix?
B) Did you add the nutrient in a sanitary way? (e.g. boil it in water and handle it in a sanitary manner)

When i added the yeast nutrient it was in a tube in powder form and i kind of just tossed it in when it was racking... immediately regretted it. But i added it because i thought the potential alcohol was too high and wanted to speed it through a bit..

Thanks, its good to hear something fairly positive. its been almost a week now and i dont see anything wierd like mold etc. it should turn out to be a good Falconers Flight extra IPA :mug:
