acidental hop debris in keg

I'm sure things like that will be happening to me (just beginning kegging) so I'm following.
Could you maybe open up and make it a floating dip tube?

Why not use a floating diptube?

my QDs are flare nuts, so i'll use a gas QD on the beer out before i swap for the floating dip tube....thanks for that too!

Seriously though, there are floating diptubes with filters attached.

I have a couple of kegs where I slipped a small filter bulb over the end of the dip tube. A recent hazy IPA I made was the perfect test of this and they work like a charm. I gravity filled the keg through the gas valve and used the pressure relief valve to vent. Some fine hop matter that worked its way in during the fill is filtered out just fine.

Switch from corny to sanke kegs, they are less likely to clog. I realize it is expensive to switch, thus it’s better to just start with sankes.
