I got a few of my washed yeast jars mixed up and found that I had accidently blended washed White labs American Ale yeast and Cream ale Blend. So now I am wondering if I should use this new blend or not. I know that these strains share some similar characteristics so I think it would be fine but I also know that I don't know anything about the microbiology of yeast activity so I thought it would be best to ask.

So would this be a good hybrid blend to try or a quasimodo creation?

if you like both the yeast i say go for it, brew something light i would think to be able to get a feel for the "new yeast profile" sounds interesting to me, my feeling would be is one strain will end up being dominant and overpower and overtime push the other aside, but i have no authority of which to speak on this just my hunch
