How about taking it to a grocery store that has a coffee grinder and running it through that? Of course, you might need to change your recipe to some variation of a stout, but these are desperate times. Skip asking whether it's ok to do, just do it. And don't forget to wear a mask in case Kentucky has a law against this type of shenanigan.

for 2 pound 1 gallon batch....what about mashing it whole for 3-4 hours or something like that?

If not, I'd work with a blender.

I use a blender with wheat malt for my wheat beers. It bumps the conversion efficiency up a bit.
