I made a starter yesterday and had my apartment's AC at ~70F. This morning I woke up to find that my AC had stopped working and my apartment's temperature had risen to about 75-76F.
Do you think my starter is still ok to use? I'm planning on fermenting my batch at 69-70F. I was planning on dumping the entire starter into the fermenter about 24 hours after making it. Would putting it in the fridge for a day and dumping off most of the liquid help clean up any problems?
