I purchased an unwired A419 temperature controller (120V model) new from ebay. The pic below shows it mounted to a quad-box with a 20A outlet that isn't affected by the controller and a 15A outlet that is controlled. I run a PC fan in the freezer and this gives me enough outlets to do that plus more. All wiring is with 12 AWG solid, except for the 12 AWG stranded cord. I used 12 AWG crimped and soldered terminals for the stranded wire, terminating directly to the uncontrolled outlet and ground. I could provide a schematic if there's any interest.
The unwired A419 & parts to build this is about the same cost as getting one pre-wired. I liked knowing the wiring is done neatly with the correct gauge and wanted the uncontrolled outlet for cable neatness around my freezer. The assembly gets hung on the wall behind the freezer.
The temperature proble strain-relieve is a 3/8" tube cut the long way, mounted with zip ties to the board.
I will put a heating/cooling switch on the side of the A419 someday.
