I bought a 3 roller monster mill and built my own base and hopper. So far I have had mixed results with my setup. One of the issues was the need to drill a small hole in a bucket near the top to allow the axle of the grinder to attach to a drill. As it took at least 2 buckets to hold a 10 gallon batch worth of grain, I had to drill many buckets or transfer to another bucket as I went.
My answer to this, was to drill out the bottom of my main grain mill bucket. Bellow this I store the other two buckets. The hopper comes off and stores along with the mill and it's base inside the bucket.
To use the mill I place the main mill bucket with it's bottom cut out into a whole bucket, then begin milling. When the bucket is near full, I remove the main mill bucket from the full bucket and place it into another one and finish the milling. It is much cleaner and faster now, and stores all in one package.
