Beer Dude in the Sunset
Just a couple or three things from brew day today....
Today in Georgia it was 82 degrees.
I cooled my brew down to 75 before pitching. I folded up several paper towels into a pocket like a sleeping bag and taped it to the side of my fermentor bucket. Then I slid my temperature probe into the pocket.
My a/c is set at 75 degrees. I put my fermentor bucket in front of the a/c duct and 3 hours later it is at 68 degrees. The air blowing out is about 55 degrees.
Todays brew was 6+ gallons. I used a couple half gallon liqour bottles for the overage. You don't even have to clean them because they are sanatized with whiskey. After the ferment in the bucket calms down I will pour the liqour bottle fermentors into the bucket and will end up with a keg plus several bottles.
