I have been using the fairly ubiquitous 48 quart Ice Cube swamp cooler method for my fermentation temp control and have been pretty happy with it so far. What I would like to do next is get the 70 quart cooler and ferment with two 3 gallon Better Bottles side-by-side with an eye towards some simple one variable experimentation.
Ostensibly they should just fit. The better bottles are listed as 7.5" square and the interior dimensions of the cooler are listed at 15.25" x 13.25" at the bottom. I believe the wheel indentation take off from the 13.25" dimension so there should be no problem there.
Has anyone tried this setup? I thought I would ask before going ahead and ordering all the equipment. Thanks.
