#7 stopper is inside 25 liter carboy

Theoretically, if a #7 stopper fell inside a 25 liter carboy, how can you get it out?


Of course I would never do something this stupid.


Maybe this happened to one of my friends, but it did not happen to me.

About ten years ago, a "friend" of mine drank too much on his first brew day. He managed to get the stopper out of a carboy with a very sharp knife.

He also managed to cut his finger very very badly.

I've used this method before on wine bottles. I received them with a cork inside a few grr. I have not used it on a carboy but should work, just harder to manuver the stopper around inside since it is heavier. Do this sitting on the ground on carpet.
 
I think this has to be one of the coolest tricks I've seen. I recently learned how to rip a phone book in half. that one is a close second.
