Hi everyone, I've been back in school for the past year and haven't brewed at all and don't plan to brew for the foreseeable future while I finish my education. Also, my cat got sick last week and I have 7 grand in vet bills I need to make up... so, I'm selling my Blichmann BrewEasy system. It will come with the following:

I'm asking $2000 for the following:
1. Blichmann BrewEasy Classic - 5 Gallon, 120V ($2000 new)
2. Command Stand - bought and never used ($220 new)
3. Flow Control Manifold - bought and never Used ($176 new)
4. Therminator Plate Chiller & Quick Release Bracket for Command Stand ($294 new)
5. RipTide Brewing Pump ($220 new)
6. Really nice quality counter flow chiller
7. Hopblocker ($90 new)
8. Excellent heavy heavy duty 20A extension cord ($100 new) - would run it from my laundry room to my driveway without any increase in temperature
9. All associated and necessary hoses with quick disconnect. May need one or two because like I mentioned, the flow control manifold was a new addition to my system so I never set it up. :(
10. Literally every single other piece of brewing equipment I have to donate will go with it as a freebie... carboys, capper, whatever I can find and you want. otherwise, it'll all get donated to my home brew club
11. insulation that I made for the BrewEasy (not that you need it, it heats up and holds temp super well because it's 2200 Watts).

Separately, I may sell my Spike Flex+. Asking $300 for Spike Flex+ and Spike PRV as part of the package. I don't think I want to split it up at this time.

I'm located in Southeast Virginia and can drive a pretty far distance (there and back same day) for a full price offer to meet you or deliver. I will video call with interested parties to show them everything and will upload pictures once I get everything organized. Everything is well taken care of and clean. Some parts are unused because I bought them and then started school.

Thanks,
Matt

By the way, if anyone has any comments on the price or any suggestions, please let me know. I'm a motivated seller. Thanks.

Finally got around to cleaning the garage. Check out the pictures of all of my stuff. I only plan to keep stuff I can use for my wine making otherwise everything else will go with the purchase.

Bump. $2000 includes Spike Flex+ and literally everything I have (that I can't use for wine).

Also includes a Haier mini fridge with ink bird controller set up as a fermentation tank. Can see the mini fridge in the background of the attached photo.

In southeast Virginia but can deliver or meet almost anywhere on the east coast.

Bump.

Could anyone who sees this offer any advice for why no one is interested? Is it priced too high? Is it because of the economy or elections?

I could use some help and positive criticism (and my wife would appreciate me clearing out space in the garage....). Thanks!

$2000 was pretty high. I think your latest offer is way more reasonable. Unfortunately, people who are brewing already have what they need. A set-up like yours is fantastic, but I think the market is pretty thin. I think you may have better luck offering shipping and parting everything out. Even then, it's a lot more work on your part without the gains you were expecting. It will definitely sell, it's just going to take some time.

I don't know where else you are advertising, but Craigslist, FB marketplace, and OfferUp might get more traction.

I agree with floppyknockers. I don't think you're asking too much, but the Breweasy is a niche product in a niche hobby. It'll take time to sell I'm afraid. If I was anywhere near you and just starting out, I'd definitely have been interested.
