I'm rewatching those again right now. So good.
Then you'll watch them in the order they came out.
Well, if I were to show Star Wars to someone who has never watched it, it's probably be easier to hook them by watching 123456.
I haven't seen it, but I have heard (from people who know their Star Wars) that the Clone Wars cartoons tell the story that should have been told in the prequel movies.
Pretty much this. It's a great series.
Rebels tells the pre-123 story, and it's really well done also. My son loves the crap outta Rebels. We DVR and marathon it fairly often.
Arent there like a ton of cartoons and cartoon-style video games out about the clone wars saga? I figured that is how kids would get into it. That, or their parents forcing them to watch it like Bible time on Sunday
You think Jedi is just cartoonish?
I hated 1. However, I still say 1,2,3,4,5,6. I did not think 3 was horrible. 5 is the best, of course, but meaningless without the context.
I'm glad to see Lucas completely removed from the creative end of this. Two things that could have made 2 and 3 pretty good flicks: 1. complete elimination of Jar Jar Binks (obviously) and 2. cast someone else as Anikan. You have the central character to the plot portrayed by the worst actor to ever "grace" the silver screen. Why?!?!?
EDIT: problem with introducing someone new to the movies in the 1 2 3 4 5 6 order is that you may lose the viewer at 1...
Just got back from seeing the new one. Special effects/CGI are pretty cool. Aside from the vicariously painful appearance of certain former cast members not knowing when to say when, it was pretty good. Would I see it again? Meh. Expectedly, the plot continues to thicken...
Last week one of my employees got her husband tickets to Epispde VII (for tomorrow night) as an early christmas gift because he's "a huge star wars fan". As it turns out, he's only ever seen IV, V, and I. And she's only seen IV.They own all 6 on Blue Ray but never watched them all.
I urged her and her husband to watch at least IV, V, and VI this weekend before going to see VII. And suggested maybe just skipping I-III.
She tells me this morning that this weekend they watched I, II, III, IV, & V (in that order), and that III was their favorite by far.
