2ndary in 1 gallon glass jugs

my lovely wifey said that if i was going to keep brewing beer, she was going to get to make some wine...

so we got the goods together to make up some of ed wort's afplewein and it's sitting in the closet as we speak...

my question is, after the first 4 weeks, when it's time to transfer out of the better bottle into secondary for long term, can i just rack back into the 1 gallong glass jugs the apple juice came from the store in or does it need to go into a 5 gallon glass carboy?

jugs'll work fine as long as you have a bung that'll fit them.
