I'm preparing to go electric, and my first project will be to get GFCI protected on a 50A circuit I've already got run to the garage. Would something like this work?

Says it's 60A GFCI, and a lot more economical than a spa panel or an inline breaker. I wouldn't really be using it for the disconnect, just for the ground fault protection.

I don't think so. It looks to be 2 separate items in a single box: a 240 disconnect (basically a switch) and a 120V GFCI outlet.

Gah, I see that now. Thanks for the replies.

My next hairbrained plan is to find someone giving away a hot tub on Craigslist and offer to dismantle it in exchange for the GFCI breaker it's attached to. Might be getting in over my head, but it'd be "free." ;)
