I took a whiff of my turmeric last night. I'll just say I hope it beats the odds like the oyster seaweed one did.
I think those gin barrel botanicals'll really meld well with the turmeric.

If just about any other brewery was going with such a combination, I'd be skeptical. Gift of Comfort didn't initially strike me as a great combination last year either (lemon in beer always seems like a recipe for unbalanced acidity, even in the case of the sweeter Meyer lemons), but it ended up being one of my favorites. Plus, it also used a belgian blonde base.

Sante has never really done a WTF beer have they? I mean like a Bruery abomination.
