I came into this thread thinking Dark Lord Day was some sort of satanist beer festival, leaving disappointed.
In the years past I've always driven down the morning of and driven back that night (I would stop drinking 3+ hours before heading home) I'm thinking this year it might be best to stay the night somewhere down there, but of course the hotels are booked. Thinking about just bringing a tent or something for the night. Any thoughts?

I'm confident that will NOT fly on the brewery grounds, industrial park or nearby park. You'd be better off getting on the bus that goes to/from downtown Chicago and spending the night there.

Guessing it's pretty good beer huh?
Hmmm I've seen plenty of tents in years past at the local businesses, I'll just go with my usual routine, thanks yall
Actually...
The vanilla bean is extremely good if you can manage to get your hands on it.
The normal stuff...eh. It used to be a really great beer back when few others were making stuff like it, but now the field has gotten very crowded and many other breweries have surpassed them. In my opinion.
Any other beers I should pick up in Indiana?
I'm from NY, so I'd be interested in good stuff that's not widely available outside of the Indiana/Illinois area. I'm already going to hit Fat Heads in Cleveland on the way down. Might hit Hoppin' Frogs too.
Enjoy Fat Heads!
I do. I have family in Eastern Ohio, right on the Ohio River.
I always pick up a few 4-packs to take home when I'm in town visiting. I think they are a very underrated brewery.

Lol at fatheads being "underrated" considering they collected 6 or 7 GABF (iirc) medals in 2015
I'm liking the sounds of that Ronaldo!
