Just wondering if this is worth it to purchase. Its a lb of Amarillo 2008 kept in freezer and a oxygen barrier bag. I can get it for $16 shipped. Thanks!

If you have beersmith you can punch in the original AA amount, storage method and temp, it will give you the new AA % ...but thats still pretty old, might just be good for bittering purposes, aroma might have faded.
Id punch it into beersmith for you but im not at my home computer.
me personally, I'd pass on it

I'm still using '08 hops. Just made a RR Blind Pig clone and it's probably one of the best beers I've made.

Yeah, I wouldn't go with old hops unless the price was outstanding AND you were going to use them all up in your first batch.

They do keep pretty well deep freeze frozen and in a nitrogen pack, but with 2010 hops now available.....

Are there any off flavors that old/poorly stored hops can impart, or is it just kinda nothingness?

A buddy gave me some old hops that were sealed (not vacuum) in a plastic bag. They're Magnums, so I was thinking I could just drop some of them in with my bittering charges to add a little more punch, but not if it's gonna add some weirdness.
