I wouldn't call "grand cru" a style. I've seen "grand cru" associated to a number of styles (all French/Belgian styles, but that's a language thing if you ask me), just representing whichever brewery's top notch brew.

That said, it's not grand cru.

Orval is good stuff. The tripel I have aging in the closet is along those lines.

It was excellent. Very complex and spicy.
The Rochefort 10 was more my style.

I love Rochefort 10. But that and Orval are completely different worlds.

C'mon, keep trying to narrow it down. And read the game rules carefully.

IF you were to remove the traditional ingredients that make this beer unique, it would be fairly similar to the Category 17 beers, one in particular.
