Just wondered if anyone as tried NB's 20-minute boil Kolsch recipe. By no means am I ever in a hurry when I brew, but the kit is cheap and having a very quick n' easy brew day sometime this spring isn't a bad thing. Juts wondered what the quality of that kit was. No steeping grains - just bring water to boil, add extract, throw in 2 ounces of hops at the beginning of the boil, boil for 20, cool wort and pitch. It will take more time for me to setup and clean up than it will for me to brew!

I haven't tried that kit, but have done NB's Zoomin' Pale Ale kit a couple times with good results. You are right ... it takes longer to set up/clean up than to actually brew. I keep a supply of DME on hand to make quick house brews using just that method.:mug:
