Intended grain bill was 1lb pale ale, 7lbs, pilsner, and 4oz acid malt.

What happened was 3lbs pale ale with the rest as intended. Hops were .3oz 13.2% Magnum @ 60 and 1oz 6% Willamette @ 20 minutes.

Final volume was 5.2 gallons. I was expecting 1.046 or so and ended up with 1.061. Figured the extra grain out by weighing what should of been remaining in the pale ale sack. It will be fermented with 34/70 at 52 degrees.

I'm guessing it will turn out as a strong export style lager. Original intention was a pilsner.

Thoughts?
 
Could be an IPL if you have any desire to dry hop it with 4-6 oz of something fruit forward
 
You're basically 1/2 way between a Festbier and a Helles Bock/Maibock, not a bad place to be at all.
 
Update. It's lagering in a keg. I took a sample of the young beer today.

It's good! Still young and hasn't cleared but the Willamette hops are coming through just enough to compliment the malt. I will have to remind myself that this is an almost 7% beer when I drink it because there is nothing to suggest it in the taste.
 
It's a Bock beer, almost a Doppelbock, which often are given names ending in -ator.

It might actually be easier to make a good bock or even Doppelbock than the originally intended Pilsner, since a bit higher final gravity is tolerable. And yes, the alcohol can surprise you...
