I just racked my first BOMM into a carboy today. I tried a sample of it and it really tasted like dry white wine. As it continues to age will that change or will the taste stay about the same?

That will continue to change for at least a year. I've made multiple BOMM's and short meads. They go through many serious changes over the first several months and up to the first year) probably long after that if they last that long!)

At bottling time, my short meads are amazing ! A few weeks later, they are almost undrinkable as the "hotness from the alcohol" and yeast flavors became very prominent. A month later, they tend to taste a bit more sweet, good to drink, but still young. After 6 months, they are awesome.

Even though the name BOMM implies it is a one month mead, trust me, it will be better at 6 months that it is at 1 month.

What flavor were you hoping to achieve? "dry white wine" is not really a specific flavor any more than " it tastes like a vegetable" or "it tastes like a fruit". Fermented honey is not in and of itself "sweet" since most or all of the sweet producing sugars will have been fermented, so the flavor that is left is the flavor of the nectar from the flowers the bees have gathered. You may be mistaking the flavor of honey for the sweetness you associate with the honey. Taste the honey you used to make this mead (if you still have some) and imagine what the honey would taste like if all the sweetness was removed.
