Just kegged a NEIPA smells great, tastes nice and clean but im baffled cause i put 14oz of hops and a 10ml hopshot in this thing and its not very hoppy..how is it even possible? Could it be the higher chloride to sulfate ratio in the water i used? temperature dependent? With exeption to the hopshot all the hops where 5 min, flameout, 30 min hop stand and dry hop..im happy with the beer just suprised how tame it is

Hi!
Let's get more specific. When you say "not hoppy" do you mean it lacks the juicy hop flavor, or bitterness?
Can you tell me the hops you used, their AA%, and the exact hopping schedule and recipe?

Yes, more details, like grainbill, yeast, ferm schedule, etc. would be helpful. Also, what temp was the beer you tasted at?

yeah i jumped the gun on this thread..i been brewing for a few years but i still have some noob tendencies ..its hoppy as sh$$..disregard this thread
