I cant find any 12vdc power supplies for a group stir plate build anywhere besides ebay for under $7. Does anyone know if a place to get super cheap power supplies with a mm jack on them? I tried allelectronics and jameco with no luck

Depending on what you have around the house (and what you'll be using it for) you can convert an old cell phone charger or computer power supply.

Don't laugh try Salvation Army, Good Will, St. Vincent De Paul you'll find a junk box full of them for $.050 each i'm talking up to 1,500 Ma 12 VDC.
Garage sales hell ask your neighbors I bet they have a collection of them.

+100 BB i aquired 5 12vdc powersupplies at 50cents a piece today at a goodwill you have to sort thru all the other volatge ratings but none are below 1 amp rated perfect for the fridge controllers i am building that i will show off as soon as the Growler remembers the camera from her work.

I can be proud and dig thru the Salvation Army looking for brewing items, last year snagged a brand new Waring Pro wine chiller NIB warranty card paid $5.00 a $129 list item. With 42 different temp selections but power supply missing a 12 VDC 5A unit. Called Waring to buy one they shipped me one free. This power supply feeds a mini scale refrigerator as well the stir plates, fuel injector pulser cleaning unit. I love these stores besides the money supports a cause besides my hobbies.

very true i got my mini fridge that will hold a 50L keg with only removing the shelves from a arc thrift store for 20 bucks its a 1986 montgomery ward i am a super scrounger to the Op get out there get dirty and sort thru some used stuff
brewing items will come to those that forage!!!
