So I started a batch yesterday, using my 13 gallon carboy... anywho, 10 gallons of red ale coming up! My buddy asked me to make beer for his wedding... so beer I made!

So I went to bed last night, and not a sign of krausen at all... I wake up this morning, and hear this gurgling coming from where the carboy is, I look over, and it's fermenting over! First time for everything. So I grab my siphoning hose (luckily I had just washed and sanitized last night!) and swap it out, hook up the blow off. Best part is, it couldn't have been over fermenting for much more than 10 minutes, because there was only like 1 drop of krausen outside of the air lock. SWEET! NO MESS!

So needless to say, no harm, no foul!:tank:

My dad had it laying around from when he used to make wine.... took a bit of cleaning. but it's in great shape!

hoooooly ****, the krausen finally resided enough to take the blowoff off, so I tossed the airlock back on... STILL getting like 4+ bubbles per second... this is by far the strongest fermentation I've ever gotten
