1 gallon batch

So I did some experimenting this weekend and made a 1 gallon batch....when I pitched the yeast I put the whole packet of yeast in it which is enough for 5 gallons was that to much for one gallon? Do I need to bottle it sooner?

Its not too much. It will be fine. I've done it many times.
