Hops would work great, but I guess they are not food, so I would say un-baked chocolate chip cookies. They are awesome when it's late and you want a warm snack.

I'd use it at home to vac-seal meat for the freezer. There are just 2 of us in our household, and we find ourselves splitting up packages of meat.

Meat, it's great to cook larger amounts that what you need for the evening and seal them hot, and put them into the freezer, still tastes fresh when you reheat them.

What food: Leftovers, cheese, bulk meats like pork loins, salmon filets, bulk yeast broken to smaller packs, bulk hops broken to small packs, measured grains, processed game meat done myself (cube steak, loins, burger, sausage, roasts, etc)

I currently use a corded vacuum sealer in my home for Sous Vide cooking and sealing hops for brewing. This cordless idea is great because my corded one always has to be near a plug.

I use my vacuum sealer when we buy large packages of meat and break them down to smaller packages. We grow a big vegetable garden and package them up for the freezer. I seal up opened hops and dry yeast so they will last longer. The vacuum sealer was a life changer for us and the cordless model sounds even better.

Obviously, a little vacuum sealer that doesn't need a nearby outlet means you can seal up those freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for immediate freezing and thawing during the week for a quick lunch or dinner...

And extra hops or yeast could easily be bagged, vacuumed and sealed for long-term freezer storage as well.

Do your oreos get soggy in the cabinet? Seal 'em up!

My current vacuum sealer is in my brewery (garage) and is in a bit of a cramped area. I could use this in the kitchen and easily store to save cabinet space. No cord is definitely a plus.
I would use for sealing/storing hops, various meats & fish.

I would use it to seal my hops, and if this one accepts the auxiliary hose, I would use my jar sealer attachment. I keep small amounts of specialty grains sealed in quart and half-gallon jars. I also seal coffee, tea, cornmeal and grits in jars since I buy in bulk.
