    Coopers cans

The VP of my company won a local competition, and the recipe was published in Brew Your Own magazine. Cooper's Lager, 1 pound extra light dry malt and 1 pound corn sugar. It's a great thirst quencher and very easy.

what 38mm caps are best as far as a good seal?

Are you going to naturally carbonate in jugs? Can they withstand the pressure you will create?

    first 3 brews all bad

Are you sniffing inside the fermenter after removing the lid? That burning, is you inhaling CO2. It has nothing to do with whether the beer is bad or not. All beers create CO2 during fermentation. I think you may be throwing away perfectly good beer.

    WTS: Budweiser Millennium Gift set

I saw several of these sets at a beer can collectors in February. The price was right and I was going to buy some sets just for the cool glasses. Something else caught my eye and I never did grab them. The glasses where really nice.

    FT: Budweiser: Cellared 30+ Years

As a beer can collector, I frequently run across very old, full cans. This summer I dumped out a case of Schell's Deer Brand and a case of Shell's Xmas from around 1979. Both were brown with some floaties and heavy sediment. All had plenty of carbonation and smelled like beer with a little...

    Brewer's Best cider?

Have not had Angry Orchard so I can't compare, but they seem more crisp/tart than sweet in general.

    Brewer's Best cider?

Mixed Berry is really good. We used all the sweetener. Still very crisp. I don't think I would like it without the sweetener. Great berry aroma. Can't tell what type of berries. I guess that's why it's called "mixed". After the apple tartness goes away the berry taste remains for a bit.

    Brewer's Best cider?

I am very pleased with the product. My wife and I made them with the full dose of sweetener. Even sweet, the apple still had a certain crispness that was very pleasant. I honestly expected it to be too sweet, but it is not. The cherry had a nice cherry flavor and definitely a different aroma...

    Modifying Mountmellick's Irish Stout

I modified a Cooper's Stout and it's fantastic, but could be fantastic-er. I added a vanilla bean and a 4 oz LD Carlson chocolate flavor. When I do it again I will double the vanilla.......or the chocolate........ OR BOTH?

    Brewer's Best cider?

I just bottled three. They tasted pretty darn good flat and warm. Waiting a week or so to carb is driving me nuts.

    Brewer's Best cider?

I have three of them going: Apple, Cherry, and Mixed Berry. I should have bottled a few day ago, but work is keeping me busy. Did mine in 7.9g bucket. Nothing I would call krausen, but it was especially vigorous for a couple days. They make 6 gallons so I'd use a bigger primary.

    Tobacco seeds

Car crashed into my store this morning. Only slight damage to the shop. Unsure of condition of driver. Has anyone else had their shop crashed into?

Highly Overhopped Batch! Can I fix it?

I don't think 1.5 oz of hops at 7.2aa could make for a beer that needs dumped. Could it be astringency instead?
