    Hydrometer reading

    I just finished brewing an IPA, the recipe says the OG should be 1.060. I hit 1.052, is this bad? Will being this far off effect my beer? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I don't understand a lot about hydrometer readings. TIA!! I did correct my reading based on the temp.

    Wife's beer taste

    This is a great compliment. Just now my wife opened a Sam Adams something or other after drinking one of my brown ales and she couldn't stand it. She said, and I quote, "I think my tastes have become more refined after drinking your beer". I believe I married a keeper!!!

    Extract and yeast storage
