    Blood Orange Hefeweizen

Jim - It's to early for me to do the math but you don't need a starter for this beer. If you over pitch your yeast it won't give off as many of the wonderful flavors. Just use a smack pack, inflated or not and it will turn out just fine. nspaldi0 - I've been running mine at around 68-70...

BrewDog at it again (41% ABV beer)

That's funny, thinking I work for Brew Dog. :) That would be one hell of a trip to work in the morning. Your right that distillation is not a NORMAL part of the beer making process but it has been done before. And so what if it is? Who does that really hurt? I just think people are silly when...

    Coors Light? Any Suggestions

I wasn't bashing his love of coors- I was bashing the huge corperation that makes the beer. Sheesh, I even said brew somthing like it for him. Other people had suggested that you just buy him some Coors. My response was that you should absolutely NOT do that and that you should brew him...

    Coors Light? Any Suggestions

Don't buy coors!!!! F the big 3. If he has to have a light beer like coors (hang on, I just threw up in my mouth) make something close to it but better. But for god's sake, dont give BMC any of your hard earned money. There are plenty of sheep out there who will already do that.
