New Keezer - thank you all!

Nice and simple. I have one in the works right now. Got to love the "Dead Guy Ale" tap handle. Contact the brewery and they will send you the missing handle stickers. You can do a search the web but wood is a VERY poor insulator. Install some foam and a small fan to circulate the air inside.

Keezer Build - Tips and Lessons Learned

I'm setting up THIS PC SERVER fan on an adjustable cycle TIMER. This way I can control how long the fan is on and off. The fan is bit loud outside the keezer but inside with the lid closed, the room has to be dead quiet, you have to be close and listen real hard to hear the fan cycle on. I...

Try cleaning as much of the the sprayer as you can with crest tooth paste. Then use a food grade silicone to lube/reassemble the sprayer.

    Temp Control Question

I share an old freezer with a friend setup the same way. He uses the InkBird 308 controller along with a small Lasko heater from Wally-World because the freezer is in a non heater garage. Works great.

    Diy Stir Plate Magnet question

Not that I can tell so far. Besides, inside a closed box you would only be moving, cool, warm, warmer, hot and even hotter air, no chance of recirculating air from out side. And I think without the blades I have a reduced load. Worst case, I have plenty of replacement fans. :D

    Diy Stir Plate Magnet question

Welcome aboard. I removed the fan blades, did not see a need for them inside the box.

Why are drip trays so expensive???

I picked up a 19" x 4" from Bar Products. $16 + shipping. Glued neodymium magnets to the back of the tray and for aesthetics I added the SS hand rail supports underneath that have round magnets to help hold them in place to the keezer. Easy to remove and toss in the dishwasher. .

Thank guys. Found a couple more pics. The outlet is split so the bug is powering the 12v circulating fan when the compressor is on.

    Assisted Build(First Attempt)

Helped a friend with his build last winter. His dad works making exotic wood furniture, tables, chairs, bar stools, coffee tables and bar tops. I did the paint(black-not great), wiring and helped with the finally assembly. Turned out very well, I just wish I had more pics.
