Has anyone else had plastic brewing equipment/tools crack from overnight soaks in PBW? This has happened to me twice now and thinking it's from the long soaks in PBW after a brew session. Also seen this on a hyrdometer test jar. Thanks and Cheers!

Lately it's been dry yeast, but I use liquid with starters as well. I have had good results with both types. Future brews I'm going to use Dry yeast when I can and only liquid when I want a specific strain or when I'm making a big beer and want to make a large starter. Cheers!

SS Brewtech Brewbucket, used for two batches so far, nice upgrade from plastic. Could use more head space for big beers, have a RIS in now that needed a blow off tube first couple days.

I used these for weight when dry hopping beer with hop bags.

Like others have said I have used Glass decorative stone from any craft store, just clean and sanitize and your good to go.

If by legacy hops you mean some of the other non standard NEIPA hop types then yes. Although minus the Rye I have made an excellent NEIPA using Columbus, Simcoe, Chinook, Amarillo and Citra hops. All hops were used in boil and in dry hopping. Cheers!

Thanks, I was figuring something like that but all the ibu calculators I've used don't add any IBUs for flameout or zero boil hops. That's what's puzzling. I know that you will get some bitterness with post boil edditions it's just how much. I have an idea how much I want to use, I'll just start...

I do have the IBUs it's 105,the Columbus are added at the beginning of the 90 minute boil and the centennial are in the whirpool.

Tent stakes seems to work for me. They are inexpensive, hold good and have a nice hook on them to loop the twine.
