All-grain feels more "authentic". I like that. I'm more able to say "I made this" when talking to friends. I find that with AG you're more able to brew true to style. With extracts you can come close, but you'll never get as light-coloured a beer (if making a pilsner, for example) as with AG...

You won't get much flavour out of cubes over only 10 days. Chips - yes, definitely, but cubes are normally left to sit for weeks/months. Also, they're normally added after fermentation has completed, not partway through.
