    Secondary?

    I have a 1.5 gallon batch of cider almost completely fermented and want to secondary it to clear but I only have a 5 gallon carboy available to use. Would this be ok for secondary?

    Ty shanecb I'm going to the LHBS in the next day or 2 and will give this a shot. It's far easier to make cider, no boiling.

    When I said SG I meant FG. I'll have to get a can and conduct the test ASAP. The cider I have in primary now is @ 1.003 after 8 days. I expect it to ferment dry and I guess I'll backsweeten quite a bit, maybe to 1.030 to see if that's to get liking. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew
