Someone has to make a corny keg dip tube thermowell

It wouldn't seal to the post you drill into the side of the keg. You would then still be able to use your dip tube to transfer beer out of your keg and maintain pressure.

Someone has to make a corny keg dip tube thermowell

Just use a weldless thermowell like this http://www.homebrewing.org/12-SS-Weldless-Thermowell_p_4639.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4Ou50M2y1gIVVJJ-Ch043gd1EAQYASABEgLs4PD_BwE

What are you guys using for volume measurement

I use a 0-30" differential pressure transmitter and it is very accurate. Was able to pick 2 Rosemont up off eBay for $50. Something similar to this...

    Large space under false bottom

I have the same issue. Example that I would use if I have 22 lb of grain and want a 1.4qt/lb. ratio. And have 5qt under the false bottom. 22x1.4 =30.8 qts.+5qt=35.8. I take that and divide it back by my grain weight 35.8/22=1.63qts/lb so that is what I put in for water to grain ratio. Kind of...

    Keezer insulation

Here is a link to what I used. I was able to get enough scraps at my work to complete mine and yes the new stuff works better. I did a double layer. It says to use glue for the joints but I used the metallic duct tape. Cheers, David

    Keezer insulation

I will get the name of the black foam one today at work. The other was the standard wall foam insulation you get at the box hardware stores. It had a green color. The new insulation seems to keep the coffin cooler and cycle times have reduced.. I will get back to you on brand this evening.

    Keezer insulation

I used fans on my build to circulate 1 pulling air up and other pushing it back in. They seem to work fine. 1 thing I have changed since I first built mine is the insulation. I went from the hard foam board to a black sort foam insulation like the material used on water lines under the house. I...

You need a temperature controller to keep your freezer from freezing. STC 1000 will work. Link to something that is prebuilt: http://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Itc-308-Temperature-Controller-Thermostat/dp/B011296704/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1449595597&sr=8-6&keywords=stc+1000
